Empowering Rohingya Voices: Building Leaders for Advocacy, Rights & Resilience
Rohingya Advocacy Center (RAC) organized a 5-day Training of Trainer program. A total of 20 advocacy volunteers from Camps 1E, 2E, 2W, 3, and 7 participated – 4 from each camp, including at least 1 young girl per group, ensuring gender inclusion and youth representation. This initiative is part of the broader effort under the Rohingya Advocacy Center (RAC) project to amplify community voices and foster local leadership for a more resilient and rights-aware Rohingya population.

Strategic discussion on the way forward for the RAC Project with Donor delegation and FDMN representatives
Rohingya Advocacy Center (RAC) team met with the Donor delegation from SDC & CFLI at our office in Cox’s Bazar. The agenda included updates on RAC activities, a meeting with FDMN representatives, and discussions on financial matters and future challenges.

RAC team field visit to Camp 3
Rohingya Advocacy Center (RAC) team met with the Camp-in-Charge (CiC) of Rohingya Camp 3 to share our ongoing activities, advocacy efforts, and implementation plans tailored to the needs of the community. The meeting was led by RAC Project Director Brigadier General Manzur Qader (Retd), who introduced the RAC team and outlined our core objectives. Following this, the Rohingya Advocacy Center (RAC) team continued the day by engaging directly with FDMN youth leaders from different Camps.

ASP Foundation - GRM Consulting holds meeting for the RAC Pilot Project.
GRM Consulting is executing the baseline survey for the RAC Pilot Project.
The purpose of this survey is to gather important information about the community’s protection needs, advocacy capabilities, and rights awareness. The results will direct RAC’s program design and execution.

RAC hosted meetings followed by Iftar in the refugee camps to create linkages with the Rohingya community
This initiative, themed as Strengthening Advocacy & Protection Together, created a space for exchange of dialogue between the RAC and Rohingya representatives. During these sessions the Project Director of RAC Brig General Manzur Qader (Retd) introduced RAC and its objectives to Rohingya youth representatives present there while hearing about their needs and expectations. So far, two Iftar meetings have been successfully held, fostering a strong sense of community, inclusion, and solidarity.

GRM Consulting began baseline survey activities for the RAC Pilot Project.
The baseline survey will provide critical insights into the community’s awareness of their rights, existing advocacy capacity, and protection needs. This data will inform the design and implementation of RAC’s programs.

RAC opens its office in Cox’s Bazar to provide advocacy, protection, and cultural preservation support for FDMNs.
The opening of our Cox’s Bazar office is more than just a milestone- it’s a promise to stand with the Rohingya community in their journey toward dignity, rights, and cultural resilience.
The RAC office in Cox’s Bazar is now officially operational, marking a key milestone in our commitment to empowering the Rohingya community. To mark this achievement, RAC hosted a meeting with CFLI Delegates, FDMN representatives and baseline-mapping team (GRM Consulting Services) at the new office. This space will serve as the center for our ongoing advocacy, protection, and cultural preservation efforts.

ASP Foundation gets NGOAB approval to conduct the RAC Pilot Project
ASP Foundation has received official approval from the NGO Affairs Bureau (NGOAB) to implement the RAC Pilot Project, allowing the organization to legally proceed with its planned activities under this initiative.

ASP Foundation assigns GRM Consulting as the Baseline and Mapping consultant for the RAC Pilot Project
The establishment of the RAC office marks a significant milestone in our efforts to empower the Rohingya community. The office will serve as the hub for our advocacy, protection, and cultural preservation initiatives.
RAC hosted a meeting at their Cox’s Bazar Office with the Canadian delegation comprising Mr. Marcus Davies, Political Counsellor, Ms Erin Estey, Senior Program Manager, and Ms. Sameya Karim, CFLI Coordinator to discuss the progress and pipeline of activities. The meeting also hosted Rohingya representatives sharing their views and concerns.
