In partnership with the ASP Foundation, GRM Consulting has started baseline survey work for the RAC Pilot Project.
The purpose of the survey is to gather important information about the community’s protection needs, advocacy capabilities, and rights awareness. The results will direct RAC’s program design and execution.

This initiative, themed as Strengthening Advocacy & Protection Together, created a space for exchange of dialogue between the RAC and Rohingya representatives. During these sessions the Project Director of RAC Brig General Manzur Qader (Retd) introduced RAC and its objectives to Rohingya youth representatives present there while hearing about their needs and expectations. So far, two Iftar meetings have been successfully held, fostering a strong sense of community, inclusion, and solidarity.

The baseline survey will provide critical insights into the community’s awareness of their rights, existing advocacy capacity, and protection needs. This data will inform the design and implementation of RAC’s programs.

The opening of our Cox’s Bazar office is more than just a milestone- it’s a promise to stand with the Rohingya community in their journey toward dignity, rights, and cultural resilience.

The RAC office in Cox’s Bazar is now officially operational, marking a key milestone in our commitment to empowering the Rohingya community. To mark this achievement, RAC hosted a meeting with CFLI Delegates, FDMN representatives and baseline-mapping team (GRM Consulting Services) at the new office. This space will serve as the center for our ongoing advocacy, protection, and cultural preservation efforts.

ASP Foundation has received official approval from the NGO Affairs Bureau (NGOAB) to implement the RAC Pilot Project, allowing the organization to legally proceed with its planned activities under this initiative.

The establishment of the RAC office marks a significant milestone in our efforts to empower the Rohingya community. The office will serve as the hub for our advocacy, protection, and cultural preservation initiatives.

RAC hosted a meeting at their Cox’s Bazar Office with the Canadian delegation comprising Mr. Marcus Davies, Political Counsellor, Ms Erin Estey, Senior Program Manager, and Ms. Sameya Karim, CFLI Coordinator to discuss the progress and pipeline of activities. The meeting also hosted Rohingya representatives sharing their views and concerns.

Mr. Mehedi Kaiser and Mr. Md. Ala Uddin are onboarded as Project Manager and Finance, Administration & Logistics Officer respectively.

The RAC Pilot Project has secured support from the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI), marking a significant milestone as the project receives international backing aimed at fostering community-level development

This partnership with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) will provide critical funding and technical support for RAC’s initiatives, ensuring their success and sustainability.

Brig. General Manzur Qader (Retd), Advisor & Chief Executive of ASP Foundation, begins a journey to formally engage with the Rohingya people, one of the most persecuted communities in existence. Mr. Mohaimen M Kaisar joins to voluntarily assist this noble cause.
